You might notice that the last news post came in late February, 2020. Between the March 4th performance of Discovering Austen and what would have been the March 26th performance, a lot changed. But you know all about that. So what’s been going on with Kristin since then? Two major things. She’s hard at work on a new play (learn more in the next post!) and she’s expanded her work as a teaching artist into the role of Community Engagement Manager at Writers Theatre. WT is a professional theatre on the North Shore of Chicago, known for intimate productions of plays that highlight the word and the artist. They have an award-winning education program that is active in Chicago Public Schools. Kristin is focused on expanding that education program to include opportunities for young people in the North Shore as well as creating programming to deepen audience engagement with mainstage productions.
